He studied theoretical physics at Harvard University, earning his PhD in 1949.
Academic Career
Kuhn began teaching at Harvard in 1949 and moved to Princeton University in 1957. From 1968 to 1979, he was a professor at Princeton and later taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1979 until his retirement in 1991.
